Erica Leanna notes Mobile Inventor’s ability turn her wish list into a real app.
Platinum Dance Center’s mobile app makes everything at the studio easy for parents to do.
Making It Happen
Mobile Inventor understands that its customers generally are pretty unfamiliar with the process of creating a mobile app. So they’ve established a process that helps customers to see how apps work and what they can do so they can visualize how their own ideas can fit into an app. By working through Mobile Inventor’s design template, customers are also able to accurately articulate what they want to their design team so that the finished product is spot on.
“Mobile Inventor was open to our ideas and helped us to flesh them out in the template. They took our wish list and figured out how to incorporate them into our app. They made the design part of the project easy as pie!”
Making It Easy
The development process is critical, but the results are what you have to live with in your studio. Her goal was to create an app that would help her to really provide “full-service” to her parents by making it easy to do business her studio. Erica watched as her ideas were brought to life in the studio’s app. Parents want to do business with our studio from the device that they use for everything else in their lives. This is especially true for activities that are time sensitive, such as:
- Registering their children for classes
- Making payments
- Checking the calendar
- Seeing events
Erica’s studio sends push notifications of critical information to parents through the mobile app. This keeps parents in the loop, eliminates any potential for communication gaps, and saves the studio staff valuable time.
“I believe that the mobile app is a powerful customer service tool for us to use in making everything at our studio easy for parents to do. And by doing so, we earn their loyalty and win their appreciation for accommodating their needs and preferences.”
Making It Special
Mobile apps can also offer exclusive information to specific groups within the studio. Platinum’s competitive and performance teams have sections developed exclusively for their use for music, videos, updates and calendars. Getting creative with items that work specifically for the way your studio works and your parents and students want to interact is what developing the app is all about. It makes what you have special and uniquely valued by your studio’s parents.
“We’re really excited about areas of our app that we’ve created for special groups of dancers. We have a Dancer’s Only section that gives our students a place to post fun and helpful items. It’s exciting that – with Mobile Inventor’s help – we’ve been able to make these things happen.”
